Day 1: Kampala-Jinja in the East, white water rafting
Day 1 of of your 10 days Buhoma Gorillas & Wildlife Tour starts with a hot and tasty cup of coffee/tea and after, meet your driver guide for briefing. Leave Kampala after getting insight about your Buhoma Gorilla and Wildlife Tour, drive to Jinja about 1-2 hours.

The 1-2 hours journey to the Source of the River Nile takes you along Kampala-Jinja highway and en-route stopover be made at Sezibwa Falls. Proceed to be briefed before taking part in 2-3 hours’ White water rafting experience on the Source of the Nile. Later in the afternoon, drive to have overnight in Kampala.

Day 2: Kampala city-Kibale Forest National Park (KFNP)

The 5-6 hours trip from Kampala takes you along Mityana-Mubende to Fort Portal city route. Drop off at the booked accommodation in Kibale to have a relaxed evening & night stay in budget, mid-range or luxury lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi wetland visit-Kabarole district
Day 3 of 10 days Buhoma Gorillas & Wildlife Tour, have breakfast and after, gather for briefing at Kanyanchu Tourist Centre. Leave the briefing point at 8:00am for actual chimpanzee trekking adventure with professional park guide in Kibale Forest, taking for 2-4 hours including 1 hour of face to face encounter with chimps.

Kibale sits on 795sq.kms of an area and protects 13 primates. Other than 1500 chimpanzees, the park also shelters other species of wildlife, most of these can be seen including baboons, birds, red tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, butterflies, flora etc. Trek back from Kibale Forest to the lodge for lunch and later, have an afternoon Bigodi swamp visit to look for a lot more primates, birds, plants etc.

Day 4: Community walk & connect to Queen Elizabeth N/P
Breakfast early morning and after, go experience the best of Fort Portal city, visit Amabeere G’Nyinamwiru caves. You will also visit The Tooro Kings Palace, enjoy stories told by the locals then get back to have lunch. After, get on a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, about 3 hours’ drive and have en-route game drive before you check into the lodge.

Day 5: Kasenyi Guided game drive & launch cruise, QENP

A hot cup of tea/coffee and your day 5 of your 10 days Buhoma Gorillas & Wildlife Tour takes you through the best of guided game drive on Kasenyi plains. This guided game tour will take 2-3 hours and possible animal sightings range from buffaloes, birds, leopards, bush elephants, antelopes, lions, warthogs and others.

Drive back to your booked accommodation for leisurely lunch in Queen Elizabeth and later, you a boat cruise lasting for 2-3 hours. The possible sightings on Kazinga boat cruise range from hippos, crocodiles to birds.

Day 6: Ishasha Guided game drive & transfer to Bwindi
Breakfast early and after, your Buhoma Gorillas & Wildlife Tour covers guided game drive in Ishasha area in the southern Queen Elizabeth. The interesting animal sightings here are the tree climbing lions and other mammals, after, head to Bwindi for overnight stay in the booked lodge.

Day 7: Bwindi Forest Gorilla Trekking & Batwa visit
After breakfast, meet Uganda Wildlife Authority official for briefing on gorilla rules and regulation at Buhoma region. At 8:00am, you and the park will leave for actual trek to see anyone of 4 Buhoma regions; Katwe, Mubare, Habinyaja and Rushegura families. The actual adventure to see Buhoma gorilla families can take 2-6 hours and you will later enjoy 1 hour with mountain gorillas. Get back to enjoy leisurely lunch in your booked Bwindi accommodation before paying a visit to Batwa community.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a canoe/boat ride
Have breakfast in Bwindi’s accommodation and after, leave for Lake Bunyonyi, the 2nd deepest lake in Africa. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi, an incredible lake with 29 islands. Visit any of the islands and get back to have lunch. Have long day of leisurely chilling at the shores, swim at the lake etc.
